Please join us for a discussion of Alice Sebold's engrossing award-winning first novel. Susie Salmon is murdered on December 6, 1973. The story follows her family for the next ten years, narrated by Susie herself from the afterlife. She witnesses her family's grief, their efforts to find the killer, and attempts to come to terms with what has happened as life goes on.

Ladies ESL Conversation Group
The Hillsborough Library's Ladies English as a Second Language Conversation Group will be starting up again in October. It will be held on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:30 PM, beginning on October 15th and ending on December 17th. Attendees must know at least some English, as this group is an opportunity to practice and improve conversation.
