Raritan River Documentaries: 'Reimagining Our Watershed: A Renaissance on the Raritan'

In 2012, the E.J. Bloustein School's Raritan River Initiative produced the first film to celebrate the many environmental achievements made in the watershed.

The Raritan Economic Development Committee, in conjunction with the Rutgers E.J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and the Sustainable Raritan River Collaborative will present the film, 'Reimagining Our Watershed: A Renaissance on the Raritan'.

This film features projects and organizations from all areas of the Raritan, South Branch, The Upper Raritan and the Lower Raritan .... and many tributaries too. From Peapack-Gladstone to Perth Amboy.... and Raritan Borough as a central focus, we captured an enthusiasm that drives quality of life and reminds all of us that this is indeed a marvelous and wonderful place to call home. Dr. Judy Shaw, Director of the Raritan River Initiative, will provide comments.

We will also share the story of one very special project - the restoration of fish runs through the removal of two obsolete dams on the river. John Jengo, Principal Hydrologist with MWH Global will give remarks.
