Have you ever wondered about the meaning of Chinese characters .... and what the pattern of all of those strokes represent? Chinese characters are the oldest continuously used writing system in the world. Join us at the Hillsborough Public Library at 2pm on Saturday, March 19, for a workshop in which you will learn the concept and history of this ancient script. Jeanette Wu will explain how the characters are formed and how the strokes are used. Try your hand at writing the characters yourself… there will be time to practice your new writing skill!
Registration for this program is required, but there is no cost to attend. To register, stop by or call the Adult Services Desk at 908-369-2200. Registration can also be done using the online library calendar.
