Indians of Central Jersey, November 6, 2013, at 7:00pm

Who were the Native American Indians? What Indians lived in your town and where are they now? James Wade, archaeology archivist and field archaeologist, will help us to understand the Naive Americans' significance as a people, relationship to the land, and their legacy through Indian names of places, rivers, mountains, towns, etc., that are still used by us today.
See and touch actual Indian stone artifacts that were found throughout New Jersey, and learn how they were made and used by the Native Americans.
Registration for this program is required, and there is no cost to attend. To register, stop by or call the Adult Services Desk at 908-369-2200 ext 13. Registration can also be done using the online library calendar.
