Afternoon Movie, August 7, Music and Lyrics

The Hillsborough Public Library will be showing Music and Lyrics on Tuesday, August 7th, at 1:00 PM. Starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore.

Alex is a washed-up '80s pop singer. Talented and charismatic, he gets a chance at a comeback when a reigning diva invites him to write and record a duet with her... but there's a problem. Alex hasn't written a song in years, he's never written lyrics, and he has to come up with a hit in a matter of days! Enter Sophie, whose flair for words strikes a chord with the struggling songwriter. But Sophie is reluctant to get involved, and as the chemistry heats up between these two, this delightful and romantic little film is the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon.

The movie is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Seating is limited! Sign up at the Adult Information Desk or call 908-369-2200 ext. 13.
